Pete Halpin has been a prominent fixture on the Washington scene, including serving in the Clinton Administration as the Managing Director of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the Director of Congressional Affairs for the Office of the Secretary of the US Department of Transportation, and the Director of External Affairs for the Federal Transit Administration.

Pete started his own government affairs consulting firm before serving as the Director of Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley’s Washington, DC office.  He has accumulated over 25 years of legislative and administrative experience, and served in senior management capacities for several international and national government affairs firms.
